The Palms, Something in the Way

Interactive installation palm hut constructed from bamboo and palm fronds from wild Los Angeles River California Fan Palm fronds. Guests were invited to browse Rolling Stone magazines from 1990-1994, relax or sleep and enjoy Nirvana's "Something in the Way" on cassette loop at 50% speed. Afterwards, hut was cleaned of all non-organic materials and was later washed away during winter rains.
