two channel video installation
Two cameras, mounted back-to-back, straddled the U.S./Mexico border filming continuously north and south from dawn to dusk.
Each channel projects the view an individual attains by looking into each territory from the other.
Due to the cameras' placement between the beams that make up the border fence, the boundary and its monumental wall are invisible.
The audience in the viewing space is implicated as the border; a place one can never exist.
